Workshop – Machine Learning applied to Finance and Insurance

This practical training in Machine Learning delivered in English aims at demonstrating theoretical and practical use of data science to solve problems frequently encountered in the investments, banking and insurance industry.

To enable participants to :

• Introduce students and professionals to new technologies in machine learning, that are most relevant in the financial sector;
• Develop an understanding of the challenges and issues of data science applied to investments, banking and insurance;
• Learn to use computer tools to solve concrete problems.

Target group :

• Professionals with quantitative training;
• Seasoned professionals;
• Master’s/PhD students, recent graduates;
• who wish to deepen their knowledge around machine learning, deep learning, time series forecasting, and reinforcement learning.

Schedule :

• 16 hours of training spread over 4 weeks, May 30 to June 21, 2023 inclusive
