Mélissa Authier

Knowledge mobilization advisor

Mélissa Authier holds a B.B.A. and a Master’s degree in Business Strategy, studies carried out in Québec and internationally, in Spain (UIB), France (KEDGE Business School) and China (Peking University HSBC). Mélissa has over 10 years of professional experience in administrative support, including 4 years in development support for startups. Her six years in marketing as a team leader and brand ambassador gave her a better understanding of the consumer, as well as winning strategies related to promotion and customer service. As an independent consultant since 2019, Mélissa has been able to work on various projects, notably for the Ministry of International Relations with the mandate to support the Québec Office team in Barcelona in the implementation of activities and interventions in a variety of sectors such as technology, creative industries, sustainable mobility and agri-food. The ultimate goal is to promote Québec companies and strengthen their economic relations in the target territory.

Cultivating a strong interest in knowledge transfer, mentoring and community support, Mélissa has been involved in various committees of women in business and entrepreneurs in Québec and internationally, including Association Femmes en Affaires de l’UQAM.

As a facilitator, Mélissa’s mission is to strengthen the collective intelligence on promising projects that promote synergy between the various members and partners of IVADO.
