Nancy Laramée

Director of Partnerships

Nancy Laramée has been IVADO’s Director of Partnerships since October 2018 and has over 20 years of experience in data mining, continuous improvement and innovation. She began her career in 1998 at Air Canada as a Jr. Engineer in Customer Service and Innovation. Subsequently, she was, among others, Six Sigma Black Belt at Air Canada and Aeroplan. From 2006 to 2018, she held various management positions that led to the transformation of a department responsible for a cost center of hundreds of millions of dollars per year and multi-million dollar IT initiatives. Throughout her career, she has seen how business process analysis, creativity and data science can be catalysts for value creation and innovation. Since becoming Director of Partnerships at IVADO, the partnership team has expanded significantly to serve the academic and industrial communities. Under her leadership, the value of collaborative research projects has grown from $10 million to over $60 million and the Institute has seen its number of industrial partners double. Eager to create value for her academic and industrial partners, Ms. Laramée and her team are increasing initiatives to create bridges and intersections between the academic and industrial sectors.

Ms. Laramée holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in engineering management.
